In an interview with The Flow podcast the associate game director for The Witcher 4 confirmed that it is the most advanced project currently in development at studio CD Project Red. The game, codenamed “Polaris,” is making significant progress and has entered the pre-production phase. While specific details about the game’s content are scarce, it is known that The Witcher 4 will be the first installment in a new trilogy for the franchise.

The development team for The Witcher 4 has grown substantially, with over 260 developers now working on the project. This expansion of the team suggests that CD Projekt Red is investing considerable resources into the game’s creation.

This has got me excited. Witcher 3 is a top 10 game and a must play for anyone who likes gaming as far as I am concerned. The lore, the world building, the story and the combat all combine to produce something truly memorable and if you havent yet played it (is there anyone left) then stop what you are doing and get on with it. It really is that good!
